Graffiti Knitters
Graffiti Knitters railingI’m a graffiti fan, be it street art ( Stencil, stickers whatever ). Also the use of non traditional material for color like chalk etc. But yarn?! this absolutely takes the cake. The Gangsta Graffiti Knitters crew uses yarn to tag trees, fire hydrants, monuments and lampposts. It was started in 2005 by two women from the Houston area, now a dozen of other crews are following their lead. Look here to see more of knitters work.
