Kyoko Hashimoto has released the jewelery collection called “Seducing the Bowerbird”. As is stated in the lookbook the collection has influences from Art Deco jewelery, Victorian lace patterns and Japanese cartoon characters specifically Tamagocchi. Materials used in the collection are acrylic, polymer, wood and sterling sliver for the chains. I think the idea of a reversible necklace in black and white is really innovative.
Here you can take a peek at the Tamagocchi Pendant (Black & White), Baby Tamagocchi Pendant in Silver (Black & White) and Dinner Party Reversible Necklace from the lookbook which is available for your downloading pleasure.

I’m a graffiti fan, be it street art ( Stencil, stickers whatever ). Also the use of non traditional material for color like chalk etc. But yarn?! this absolutely takes the cake. The Gangsta Graffiti Knitters crew uses yarn to tag trees, fire hydrants, monuments and lampposts. It was started in 2005 by two women from the Houston area, now a dozen of other crews are following their lead. Look here to see more of knitters work.
